Our First Sunday at Silver
| Friends, This Sunday marks a momentous occasion for our church – it will be the first time in our church’s 23 year history that we will hold services in our own facility! Over the last 18 months, we have endeavored to shape and secure our vision to treasure the gospel of Jesus Christ together by renovating the historic Trinity Methodist Church building at 3715 Silver Ave to be our permanent home, studying our neighborhood to find ways in which the strengths of our church might overlap with the needs of our neighborhood, and beginning the steps toward planting new churches who also treasure the gospel. April 3rd will be our “soft launch”, meaning that we will still be working out the kinks in the systems and processes that come with being in a new space. Please be extra gracious with volunteers and one another and feel free to jump in and help if you see something you can help with. There are two services, 8:30 am and 10:30 am, and both will have City Kids Ministry. Feel free to invite your friends and family this Sunday, next Sunday, or for our Grand Opening on April 17th, Easter Sunday. Also on Easter Sunday we hope to try out our new baptismal by baptizing folks who want to declare their faith in Christ Jesus publicly.
