City Kids

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Welcome to City Kids

Helping Kids Know, Love & Worship Jesus!
At City on a Hill, we believe no one is too young to know and experience the love of Jesus! City Kids welcomes children ages 6 months through 5th grade during both Sunday worship services. Through Bible teaching, music and singing, and fun activities, we create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where kids can grow in their faith.
Our heart is for every child to know Jesus, love His Word, and discover the joy of following Him!

What to Expect

Sundays | 8:30 & 10:30 AM
We want your family's Sunday experience to be simple, welcoming, and enjoyable!
Check-In: Follow the City Kids signs downstairs to our Check-In area, where our Service Lead will help you get your children checked in and direct you to their classrooms.
During Service: Kids enjoy age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, and fun activities as they learn about Jesus and grow in their faith.
Pick-Up: After service, return to your child's classroom for a safe and easy pick-up.

Our Classrooms

At City Kids, we offer age-appropriate classrooms where children can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and grow in their faith in a safe and loving environment.
  • Nursery: 6–18 months
  • Toddlers: 18 months–2 years (walking)
  • Preschool: 3–5 years (potty trained)
  • Lower Elementary: Kindergarten–2nd Grade
  • Upper Elementary: 3rd–5th Grade

The Biggest Story Curriculum

At City Kids, we use The Biggest Story curriculum to help children discover how the entire Bible points to Jesus! Each week, our teachers bring God's Word to life through engaging Bible lessons, corresponding videos, activities, and crafts. We also provide at-home resources to help families continue learning and reinforce each week's lesson together.

Safety & Security

Your child's safety is a top priority! We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and loving environment for every child.
Trained Volunteers: All volunteers undergo background checks, complete child safety training & receive proper training before serving.
Secure Check-In & Pick-Up: Each child receives a name tag with a code matching their parent's pick-up tag. A matching tag is required for pick-up.
Classroom Ratios: We maintain age-appropriate child-to-volunteer ratios to ensure proper supervision and care.
Safety Procedures: Our team follows established child safety policies to help protect every child in our care.

Our Amazing Volunteers

Our volunteer teachers are truly the heart of City Kids! Each Sunday, they faithfully serve with joy, patience, and a genuine love for children and Jesus. They do so much more than teach Bible stories—they build relationships, encourage little hearts, and help children know they are loved and valued.
We are incredibly grateful for this amazing team and the time, energy, and love they pour into the next generation!
