North Church Weekly Wrap Up - April 12th - April 18th

Friends,

I pray that you are taking the opportunities that this time provides to grow in faith, and trust that our Lord Jesus is good and kind.

Honestly, it was a tough week for me, usually the week after Easter is a tough one. Feelings of depression, sadness, and fear were ever present for most of the week. I wish that I could tell you about the quick fix I found, but alas there was, and is, no such thing.

I found comfort and peace in times of prayer, and in reading the psalms. It didn't make everything immediately right, but it did grow my faith and trust in the goodness of Jesus.

Our services are at 9 am or 11 am on Sunday! Please join us for them virtually by checking out northchurch.online.church*. If you have issues with the platform, head straight to northchurchabq.com/sermons or to our YouTube Channel and the full service will be there.

*The elders will be available to chat and to pray for you at the online.church platform.

On Mount Sinai, God revealed his character to Moses, and no matter how you are feeling as you read this it's a good reminder for us all of what our great Jesus is like. Remember that Jesus is the image of the invisible God (Col 1:15) and being God shows us exactly what God is like.

“The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.” - Exodus 34:6–7

Remember the character of your King my friends,

I pray for you daily.

In Christ,
Pastor Ryan
