We were made to glorify the Lord and praise him in song (Psalm 46, Ephesians 5:19). The music ministry of City On A Hill Church exists to lead our congregation in glorifying God through songs that proclaim the truths of scripture, declare God's greatness, confess our brokenness before him, respond to his calling, celebrate our salvation, and invite people to experience Christ more deeply.  

These are the hymns of our church, the songs we sing that help us create healthy rhythms of praise in our services, our ministries, our families, and our personal times of worship and reflection. We seek out songs that are deeply rooted in the truths of scripture, magnify God's perfect character, and create a space for our congregation bring their joys, struggles, praises, and petitions before the Lord.  

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
